Here is the sketch I figured out over the past weekend. I really liked where it was going and really was excited to scan it in once I got to my desktop. It was fun playing with the concept of what could go wrong with a science project. I was happy to work in the plants and foliage which I seem to be enjoying lately.
And I really like the start to the color comp. I wanted to really highlight the rays (punny) with the color and create a warm glow on the boy. I’m definitely going to spread out the spots of cool colors throughout which will be nice on the leaves.
